I broke my foot in 2 places and can’t get anything done. Will be soooo happy when my foot can touch the ground again. Taking lots of photographs of sad little foot with giant cast boot on it for references for future paintings. Painting sitting down with foot up as opposed to my usual standing and thrashing my body around. Hmmm, thrashing around might have gotten me into this predicament. I just won’t think about that.

And Good Day For Me Too

Thrilled that my painting "Good Day In Libya" was chosen for the "Who's Your Mama? Visions of Our Mentors" exhibition at the Monmouth Museum, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft, NJ. The show runs from September 21 - November 2, 2013 and the reception is Sunday. September 21, 4 - 6 pm.

"Good Day In Libya" celebrates the Libyan women who turned out in droves on July 7, 2012 for the first National Assembly elections since 1952. With their support, 33 women candidates won seats in the Assembly.
